
What is WACTAL?
WACTAL was formed in 1971 and currently represents more than 1,000 Collision repairers and more than 200 collision repair facilities in Wisconsin. WACTAL members are noted for professional, high quality collision repairs and are leading the Wisconsin Collision Repair Industry to higher levels of quality service and customer satisfaction.
WACTAL Code of Ethics:
- To make repairs according to one’s best ability and judgment for the good of each individual customer.
- To promote good will between the motorist and members of this association.
- To uphold the high standards of our profession and always seek to correct any and all abuses within the automotive industry.
- To uphold the integrity of all members of WACTAL.
- To comply with section ATCP 132 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code.
- To operate in compliance with local zoning laws and acceptable retail standards with concern for our environment.
- To have all necessary local, state and federal licenses and permits.
- To operate in accordance with regulations.
- To carry all necessary insurance needed to conduct day-to-day business.
- To have necessary equipment to do the complete repair; either in house or through qualified sublet.
- To have a commitment to ongoing training and education for management and technical personnel.
- To provide a written warranty to customers.
